Ancora Imparo !!!

Hello!!

I'm posting this from the Monash University library. The new Monash campus at Sunway is great!! Lots of new facilities... Everything is new... I'm mighty glad to be the first batch of students using this new campus... The library is equipted with a 100 or so computers with flad screen LCD monitors. Cool... This the first time i used a monitor of such.

I am currently waiting to take my English diagnostic test, which is  around 1 hr away. So i thought that i might as well do something with that time.

Ok, Im currently staying at Petaling Jaya, SS2/48, which is my grandpa's house. There is only 1 bus which goes to Monash from here which comes at 7.30 am and takes me back at 5.30pm. So if i happen to miss the bus, I'll be in serious trouble. I won't be having any problems with food as SS2 is practically crawling with hawkers who sell all kinds of food, ranging from "Chee cheong fun" to "Char Kuey Teow". The food is pretty good actually, since most of the hawkers claim they are from Penang, having put up signs like "Penang Hokkien Mee" and "Penang Char Kuey Teow". There was even a stall who claims sell "Famous Penang Tau Foo Far by so and so" (can't remember the name the guy put on his sign), but for a person who has lived in Penang for 10 years, I seriously havent heard of such a person before, so he can't be that famous right?

The people here at Monash are rather friendly. I've already gotten to know some new friends and did met up with some old friends from my secondary school.

This week is still the orientation week. Lessons will start on the 16th of July.

I suppose the hype of being in a new environment will die down after a few weeks and routines will set in soon. My lessons will be from 9am to ard 6 pm daily. I'd better start getting use to it......
